THE NEIGHBORHOOD — I keep hearing about Amazon drone deliveries. I've never seen one in person, but they sound like a bad idea. Drones are whiny, skittish little things that sometimes collide with trees, telephone lines and other objects.
How are they supposed to carefully deliver a box of fragile items to your doorstep?
Given my skepticism of drone deliveries, this video just confirmed my bias.
Doesn't it look like a giant drone just delivered a fully assembled trampoline to that house? Turns out, that wasn't the case — it was the wind that ushered in a perfectly placed and fully assembled trampoline.
"No damage has been determined to the roof, no people were harmed, and the owners of the trampoline later came and dragged their trampoline back to their home," the caption states.
All's well that ends well, I guess. Most of these airborne trampoline videos don't have a happy ending. By the time the trampoline stops flying around, it's so torn and mangled, it ends up in a dumpster.
