SALT LAKE CITY — A man allegedly robbed a Zions Bank Friday afternoon, and police have released surveillance pictures to seek the public's help in identifying and locating the robber.
The man entered the Zions Bank at 310 S. Main Street around 1 p.m., according to Salt Lake City Police officers.
The man allegedly approached a bank teller and demanded money. After he received an undisclosed amount of money, the man fled the bank and was last seen headed westbound, according to police.
The man was described as having a darker complexion and wearing sunglasses, a dark grey ski hat, blue jeans, white sneakers, and a gray and yellow ski coat.
Police have asked anyone who can identify the suspect to call 801-799-3000. Anonymous tips can also be sent by texting the keyword TIPSLCPD to CRIMES 274637.
