PRICE — A woman is in serious condition after being shot by an ex-boyfriend on a street in Price, while the man is in critical condition after he turned the gun on himself, police said.
About 6:20 p.m. Monday, a woman was confronted by an ex-boyfriend near Carbon Avenue and Main Street. The woman ran toward Price Family Pharmacy as the man fired multiple rounds at her, according to a statement from Price police.
"The female was hit at least one time and was transported to the hospital and is being treated for serious injuries. The male was located in a vehicle with what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The male was transported to the hospital in critical condition," police said.
A third person received undisclosed injuries not considered to be life-threatening while running from the area after hearing the shots, according to police.
"The investigation is ongoing. We urge anyone who is in a domestic violence relationship or knows of someone in a domestic violence relationship to seek help," police said.
