THE NEIGHBORHOOD — Every city has a couple of secret routes that can be taken when there is traffic. These roads aren't widely known, which is why they work.
For example, let's say you're heading to a BYU football game. Cars are lined up bumper-to-bumper on the road you're taking, and you find yourself wishing you'd taken another route.
Suddenly, out of the corner of your eye, you notice a couple of cars driving along a dirt road between the car dealerships and restaurants on your right. Unimpeded by traffic, these clever fans are getting directly from point A to point B in a fraction of the time it will take all you suckers on University Parkway. You had no idea this secret road even existed until now. And you doubt you'll be able to find it again when the next home game rolls around.
Perhaps that's the type of scenario that is happening in this video.
I don't know if there was a traffic jam on the nearby Highway 14 in Fox River Grove, Illinois, but these two cars decided to simply zoom over the ice covering the Fox River.
Well played, you two. Well played. While everybody else crawls along busy streets, why not hit the ice for some fast and furious driving?
