HERRIMAN — A Herriman man already facing numerous charges in connection with alleged sexual assault of two women and a teen girl is now facing additional charges after investigators identified another victim.
Jonathon Christian Crosby, 25, was charged Monday in 3rd District Court with forcible sodomy, a first-degree felony; two counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor, second-degree felonies; and six counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor, a third-degree felony.
In that case, investigators going through Crosby's phone after it was seized during a previous arrest found videos Crosby allegedly took while engaged in sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl, according to charging documents. The Utah Attorney General's Office was able to identify and interview the teen, who told them she engaged in sexual acts with Crosby at least six times, the charges state.
The teen is the fourth victim identified by prosecutors.
In October, Crosby was charged with rape, a first-degree felony; and voyeurism, a class A misdemeanor. In that case, a woman says she passed out after drinking at Crosby's residence and woke up without any clothes on, according to the charges. Police went through Crosby's phone and found explicit pictures of the woman while she was passed out, the charges state.
Crosby was also charged with rape, a first-degree felony, in a second case filed in October. In that incident, a woman reported to police that Crosby engaged in unwanted sexual activity with her, the charges state.
In a fourth case, Crosby was charged in September with two counts of forcible sodomy, a first-degree felony; five counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, a second-degree felony; four counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a 16-year-old and possession of a weapon by a restricted person, both third-degree felonies.
Crosby is accused in that case of engaging in sexual activity with a 16-year-old girl multiple times and recording it on his phone, charging documents state.
In total, Crosby faces 24 felonies and one misdemeanor, including rape, three counts of forcible sodomy, six counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, six counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor, four counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a 16-year-old and more.
Court documents also state that Crosby was previously indicted with three counts of arson, a second-degree felony, in Texas.
