SALT LAKE CITY — Check back for the latest scores from all the Week 9 high school football games across the state.
KSL.com Sports' Game of the Week: Corner Canyon at Bingham (Friday)
Why did we choose this game?
Two Region 2 rivals will battle it out on the gridiron in what is likely to be the determining game for a region title. Bingham is the old guard — a team that wreaked havoc on the state for years — who will have to face the new guard in Corner Canyon.
Even with injuries to key players, Corner Canyon is the favorite to come out of the region with a title and challenge, again, for a 6A title as the reigning champions. But doing it on the road is never easy.
Bingham is 4-4 on the season but is undefeated in region play, while only allowing 10 points per game in region play. But the Chargers are averaging 39.7 points per game in region play, making it a tough situation for the home team.
