The Salt Lake Chamber invites you to its highly anticipated Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon on Sept. 17 at the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek. This event celebrates 137 years of business leadership in Utah, showcasing a year of remarkable achievements and honoring the standout organizations and leaders who have propelled the Chamber's mission forward.

Here's a look at this year's honorees and their accomplishments.

President's Award in Excellence: KSL.com

The President's Award in Excellence honors an individual or organization selected by the Chamber president and CEO. This year's honoree is KSL.com. Through any medium — whether it's online, radio or TV — the KSL brand has been synonymous with trust. While its digital and mobile platforms have evolved over the years, KSL.com continues to connect people through its online marketplace, local news and media solutions. At its core, KSL.com is dedicated to bringing communities together and facilitating information sharing.

Legacy Award: Jacobsen Construction

The Legacy Award honors a long-standing business in Utah, and this year's recipient is Jacobsen Construction. Founded in 1922 by Danish immigrant Soren Jacobsen, Jacobsen Construction Company has grown into a major player with over $1 billion in annual revenue. Known for landmark projects like the Utah State Capitol restoration, City Creek Center and Primary Children's Hospital campus, Jacobsen's 800 employee-owners don't just build structures — they create spaces where life happens. Their promises, projects and partnerships stand by the motto of being "Built for Life."

Fortitude Award: Delta Air Lines

The Fortitude Award, which recognizes a corporate business in Utah, goes to Delta Air Lines. As the world's leading airline, Delta connects people and communities, fostering opportunities and understanding. As Salt Lake City's largest global carrier, Delta offers over 230 peak-day departures to nearly 90 destinations, including nonstop flights to major trans-Atlantic cities like Amsterdam, London and Paris.

Beehive Award: Sunroc Corporation

The Beehive Award honors an organization that helps build the community through volunteerism. This year's honoree is Sunroc Corporation. Since 1937, Sunroc Corporation, formerly Utah Service, has delivered quality construction services across the Intermountain West. Offering expertise in concrete, asphalt, masonry and more, they're committed to safety, sustainability and high standards. As part of Clyde Companies, Sunroc is dedicated to "Building a Better Community."

Opportunity Award: Alpha Coffee

The Opportunity Award, which recognizes a small business in Utah, goes to Alpha Coffee. Co-owned by veterans Carl and Lori Churchill, Alpha Coffee is committed to delivering exceptional coffee while promoting a warrior lifestyle and supporting veterans, the environment, and the community. Since its founding on Sept. 11, 2010, the business has expanded to two locations in the Salt Lake area and now serves customers nationwide and military personnel around the globe through their online store.

Icon Award: Blendyd Studios

This year's Icon Award, which honors a woman-owned business in Utah, goes to Blendyd Studios. This innovative software firm is dedicated to empowering freight carriers by helping them find and hire top truck drivers. At the heart of their success is their advanced Applicant Tracking System (ATS), which leverages AI to automate candidate screening, enhance communication and modernize the overall candidate experience.

Trailblazer Award: Rep. Tyler Clancy and Madison Keyser Williams

The Trailblazer Award honors a rising star in the business community, and this year the Chamber is recognizing two rising stars: Rep. Tyler Clancy and Madison Keyser Williams.

Clancy represents House District 60 and, at 25, he has the distinction of being the youngest person elected to the Legislature since 1834. Clancy has already started forming a reputation as a serious lawmaker, having already sponsored over 10 bills signed into law in just two sessions.

Keyser Williams is the Director of Corporate Development at Utah Paperbox, where she oversees human resources, supplier audits and marketing/public relations. She represents the fifth generation of her family's business and is set to follow her father as the company's future president.
