Why MTECH?

With over 40 industry focused programs and serving more than 6,000 students annually, MTECH students can successfully complete programs in apprenticeships, healthcare, services, technology, and trades.

"I am so glad I got to have the opportunity to learn as much as I did at this school," a former student wrote for an Indeed review. "The cost is nowhere near what you will pay at a regular college. It is affordable, you get to work on exactly what you are there for, and you can get it done in a timely manner."

Small class sizes, hands-on training and expert instructors are just some of the many perks of attending this technical college. By providing industry-driven education, MTECH meets community needs and prepares students for a stable, successful career with their newfound skills.

While students are receiving affordable education and hands-on training in remarkable facilities, they are met with exceptional resources like additional academic support and career services. The staff at MTECH ensures that all students are prepared with practical experiences that mirror real-world work environments.

MTECH began in 1989 with just a few small classrooms at Utah Valley Community College (now Utah Valley University) and has since grown to be Utah's largest technical college with four campuses and 10 buildings across three counties. Campuses have expanded to now include Lehi, Orem, Provo, Spanish Fork, and recently broken ground in Payson and Heber Valley
