Few companies have experienced the growth the Young Automotive Group has undergone since 2010. They expanded from fewer than 10 locations to over 30 automotive and powersports operations across three states.
After opening their powersports division and acquiring their Young Mazda dealership in 2015, the company kept its sights on expansion. The next year, they acquired their second Ford dealership in an area where they had no locations — Brigham City.
For eight years, Young Ford Brigham City has served the community on Main Street, and on July 12, they celebrated the start of construction on a new facility.
"Our team has an incredible future ahead of us, and we're excited for what's in store," said Jason Evans, Young Ford Brigham City's general manager. "It's been a pleasure serving the Brigham City community and we can't wait to take care of them from a building that's more capable and comfortable."
With development overseen by Tom Stuart Construction, the new dealership is expected to finish construction in 2025 at their spot on W 1150 S near Dollar Tree. This project is part of several being overseen by the Young Automotive Group — which is creating new buildings for their Ogden Subaru and Mazda Idaho Falls locations as well as a training center in Morgan, Utah.
"We couldn't be more proud of what Young Ford Brigham has accomplished," Spencer Young Jr., president of the Young Automotive Group said. "They consistently represent our values, and what our company stands for. We know that they'll maximize the potential of their new space in 2025."
Along with the beginning of construction, Young Ford Brigham City is celebrating a prestigious achievement. This year, they became the Young Automotive Group's first location to receive a JD Power Dealer of Excellence Award.
According to JD Power, the accolade is provided to sales teams that are "just as committed to providing an exceptional customer experience as they are to selling a vehicle."
"I'm incredibly grateful for the people I have at this location with me," Evans said. "All of us are dedicated to raising the bar, and being recognized for it by JD Power serves as a testament that we're doing just that."
Along with ensuring the needs of their customers are taken care of, Young Ford Brigham City is a regular advocate for their community. Each October, they host Trunk or Treat events at their location — where the dealership not only provides families with a fun experience, but contributes thousands of dollars to charitable efforts as well.
"One thing that I love about working for the Young Automotive Group is that each location is dedicated to giving back," Evans said. "Our communities do so much for us, and we're appreciative of every opportunity we have to give back to them."
Throughout 2024, the Young Automotive Group has celebrated its 100th year of business. Though Young Ford Brigham City's contributed to that legacy for only a short amount of that time, leaders of the company note the impact the dealership has had on their business.
"We regularly hear of stories from Young Ford Brigham City that exemplify our company's mission - to deliver an exceptional customer experience," Young Jr. said. "We're grateful to have people there who can lead by example and make their dealership stand out."
