SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz's Raul Neto and Rodney Hood were selected as participants in the NBA's Rising Stars Challenge.

The game pits a team of the NBA's leading rookies and sophomores from the U.S. against their international counterparts.

Neto has played in 43 of the Jazz's 44 games so far this season, starting 42 of those contests. He's averaged 5.9 points per game and 2.3 assists per game in that time. He'll be playing among a pretty thin guard line for the International squad.

Hood has averaged nearly 14 points per game in a leading role in the Jazz's offense, often playing as the primary ball handler when Gordon Hayward is out of the game. Jazz coach Quin Snyder calls Hood one of his two most important offensive players.

Notably, Jazz forward Trey Lyles, who is from Canada, did not make the team among a crowded International front court.
