SALT LAKE CITY — The week started out as a disaster for the Utah Jazz, but two impressive performances against the Clippers and Pelicans almost made us forget about that blunder against the Thunder.

Almost.

Kevin Durant poured in 27 points and six rebounds as Oklahoma City welcomed the Jazz back to Salt Lake City with a 111-89 rout Monday night.

But Gordon Hayward helped Utah bounce back two nights later, scoring 14 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Jazz by the Clippers, 102-91, for their first win in Los Angeles in 14 tries.

The Jazz ended the week with a 101-87 rout of Anthony Davis and the Pelicans on Saturday night.
