Sure there's a huge college football (Utah vs Cal) game this weekend and you need some food for yourself and guests... but hey, why not make something you'll like so much that you'll want to use it again and again? Here are a couple of sure winners for your guests at the game today, or any game in the future.

Greek Deviled Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 12 hard boiled eggs, peeled and cut lengthwise

Instructions:

You'll need 12 hard boiled eggs. You can boil them yourself for a fresher egg experience if you have the time. Peeling TIP: Soak them in cold water to remove the shells after boiling and they'll peel right off.

Fill your eggs with the mixture. Garnish with onions and paprika.

If you are trying to walk the dog and get the family ready for the big game and there just isn't enough time… You can purchase pre-boiled and peeled eggs!

Cut your eggs in half and hollow the yolks out with a spoon. Set yolks aside.

Mix the following in a bowl and add your hard egg yolks last…

Mustard, Mayo, and Greek Yogurt.

Time to eat!

Tacos, tacos and tacos

These tacos are not only delicious they are the PERFECT tailgating food because they are made in their own container.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lean ground beef or turkey
  • 1/2 yellow sweet onion chopped
  • 1 low sodium taco seasoning packet
  • 3 cups fresh spinach
  • 3 cups fresh butter leaf lettuce
  • 2 cups grape tomatoes or chopped fresh vine tomatoes
  • 1 cup low fat sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded reduced- fat cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 3 sliced avocados
  • 8 mini bags of ranch Doritos or Fritos
  • 1 container of store bought restaurant style salsa
  • 1 container of store bought pico de gallo
Directions:In a large skillet brown your meat. Drain any excess fat and add taco seasoning to mixture.

Chop lettuce and spinach and set aside. Chop cilantro and add to lettuce and spinach mixture.

Dice vine tomatoes and onion. Set aside.

If you are using grape tomatoes it will add a sweet taste and requires virtually no preparation.

Pour the salsa and pico into a separate bowl and mix for your topping.

Cut the chip bag leaving enough room for toppings. Fritos have a few more calories (but less sodium) than Doritos.

Layer ingredients in taco style and ENJOY!
