SALT LAKE CITY — Former Utah State offensive lineman Kevin Whimpey joined former Utah defensive end Christian Cox in the SportsBeat studio to break down the Aggies' 33-18 win over Colorado State on Homecoming Saturday, as well as BYU's 30-13 victory over UConn.
The guys talk about the dominant Cougar defense that forced eight tackles for loss against the Huskies, as well as Tanner Mangum's development as a starting quarterback.
They then break down the Aggies' victory that moved Kent Myers to 6-1 as a starting quarterback. The sophomore Texan did a little bit of everything Saturday, running the ball, breaking free from a porous offensive line, and then getting plenty of help from his defense in the Utah State victory on Homecoming weekend.
