LAYTON — Layton police are searching for an endangered child whose mother has active warrants for her arrest.

Morgan Green, 29, and her 18-month-old son, Greyson, have been missing since Monday, police say.

Police believe Greyson is in danger because of Green's previous drug history and failure to comply with a court order after a recent custody hearing. She has active arrest warrants for endangerment of a child and felony drug possession.

Police describe her as white, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 105 pounds with green eyes and black hair. She has numerous tattoos and an upper lip piercing. Greyson is white with brown hair and brown or hazel eyes.

Layton police said Green has contacts along the Wasatch Front and in Idaho, but relies on friends and public transit to travel.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Layton police at 801-497-8300.
