PENHA, Brazil — We've all heard that a dog is a human's best friend. Well, this dog in Brazil is a child's best playmate.
Why's that? If it's just you and a buddy, then how are you going to jump rope? Two of you need to swing the thing, so no one is left to jump in the middle? That's where this pup comes in.
The YouTuber who posted the video says he was in the municipality of Penha, a coastal spot in the state of Santa Catarina in the south of Brazil, when he came across this scene.
A few children are just trying to have a good time jumping rope with the help of their four-legged friend. The dog has pretty good rhythm, which isn't terribly surprising considering the pup is Brazilian. I think that's a prerequisite to claim Brazil as your home — you've got to be able to move.
How well you can dance or keep rhythm isn't as important as the fact that these children may have the best dog friend in South America, or at least the dog that every child in the world will want in their family.
