WEST JORDAN — A West Jordan family that received a letter from Pres. Obama mistakenly congratulating their 1-year-old son on his 101st birthday, got another letter from the president this week.

Camille Shosted said she couldn't believe it, but the president apparently noticed the error and wanted to make up for it.

"President Obama says he hopes we'll pull these out in 2115 and smile. But we're smiling about it now," she said.

The Shosteds say they've been showing people the first letter. Now they'll show off the second one, as well.

It's not the first time the family has received a letter from a U.S. president.

"It's been a family tradition," said Kevin Shosted. "We've sent a birth announcement to the White House for all three ... four of our kids, excuse me."

Their two oldest daughters have birthday letters from President George W. Bush.
