SALT LAKE CITY — Police asked for help Wednesday to identify two men who were caught on camera loading outdoor air conditioning units from a bank into a trailer.
The two air conditioning units were stolen from the U.S. Bank located at 1375 S. Foothill Drive on Aug. 3 between 11 and 11:40 a.m., according to the Salt Lake City Police Department. Investigators said the air conditioning units, which are valued at $10,000, were hauled away by a bronze Land Rover or Range Rover. A single-axel trailer with wooden sides was attached to the vehicle.
The two men were described by investigators as being white. Police said one man was of a thin build, wearing jeans, a dark t-shirt and a dark baseball cap. The other man is of a medium build and was wearing dark shorts, a white t-shirt and a backwards dark baseball cap.
Security footage of the theft was posted to YouTube Wednesday.
