TOKYO — It's that time of year again, the time that you've all been waiting for with bated breath. Yes, the 2015 yo-yo world champion has been crowned.

Colorado resident Zach Gormley took the crown during the five-day competition, and it's easy to see why.

Just like last year's winner, 19-year-old Gormley didn't just stand on stage to complete a dry yet technically killer routine. Instead he incorporated dramatic music and choreography to compliment his absolutely spectacular talents and technical skills.

While watching those skills is pretty darn fantastic, I have to admit that the crowd feedback at yo-yo competitions is one of my favorite things on the Internet. (Aside from cats, of course.) The crowd oohs and aahs, increasing the drama after any and every stupendous trick.

And rightfully so. The drama shouldn't be saved for Gormley's mama, because he earns every reaction he gets, both in the video and for his skills in general.

"Elite players from around the world consider Zach to be one of the most influential and impressive players to pick up the toy in recent years, and it appears that he's only just hitting his competitive stride," Gormley's bio reads on his sponsor's website.

But you don't have to take their (or my) word for it. Check out the video above, and keep your eyes peeled for an around the neck move that would immediately knock me out cold if attempted.
