SALT LAKE CITY — Utah kicker Andy Phillips upped his trick shot game during Thursday's scrimmage.

Phillips, the former U.S. national team skier-turned-kicker, booted a field goal using only his feet at full speed — while wearing full pads.

Of course, BYU rugby standout and aspiring punter Jonny Linehan tweeted out a trick shot of him kicking a field goal without using his hands in the Cougars' indoor practice facility over the summer.

These days, Linehan is kicking at practice and trying to learn how to do it all in full pads. But we still remember a time when he booted an egg-shaped object through the uprights with only his feet, as well.

Two kickers at Utah-based schools who got their start in sports other than football, and competing for a trick-shot trophy? In lieu of the once-annual rivalry contest, we at KSL suggest the BYU-Utah tradition in 2015-16 be decided by Linehan and Phillips playing a game of H-O-R-S-E.

BYU holds its first scrimmage of fall camp Saturday morning at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
