HURRICANE — Washington County Sheriff's Office released dash-cam video Monday evening of an early Sunday morning arrest that involved a man accused of driving recklessly through three Southern Utah towns.

The sheriff's office reported Sunday that Michael Ryan Dalby, 32, from Bluffdale, sped by a sheriff's deputy who attempted to stop him around 4:30 a.m. in Toquerville before driving through LaVerkin and Hurricane at speeds of 100 mph.

Dalby drove a Dodge Charger recklessly and through stop signs before colliding with a responding Hurricane City police officer's vehicle, the sheriff's office said.

Dash-cam video shows Dalby get out of the mangled car and walk into the street, where deputies asked about injuries and arrested him. He was taken to a hospital for medical clearance and then booked, according to the sheriff's office.

Investigators determined that the Charger had been stolen out of South Salt Lake the week before.

Dalby was charged with driving under the influence, a class A misdemeanor, theft by receiving stolen property, a second-degree felony, failure to respond to officer's signal to stop, a third-degree felony, possession or use of a controlled substance, a third-degree felony, reckless driving, a class B misdemeanor and use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a class b misdemeanor, according to court documents.
