Hi there everybody and welcome to KSL Golf, glad to have you aboard. We are at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi where this week, the world will be watching this course as the Web.com makes it annual stop in Utah for the Utah Championship.

This is the first year Thanksgiving Point has hosted this event. These guys we will see here this week will be playing for spots on the PGA tour next year. Golf Channel will be broadcasting the tournament so it's a time to showcase what Utah has to offer.

Big names have won the Utah event — John Daly won his first pro tournament here in 1990. And Zach Johnson, who won the British Open last week, won here 12 years ago.

The tournament begins Thursday and will crown a champion Sunday afternoon.

While these pros play for the $117,000 first place check, Bruce Stockel of North Salt Lake plays golf as therapy for what he dealt with in his military service and the demons he faced in his youth. From homeless in Houston, to the Persian Gulf, to the Rose Park golf course. We start this week's show with Bruce Stockel, A Game Of Honor.
