LAS VEGAS — Delon Wright is off to a great start in his NBA career.

The former Utah point guard and No. 21 overall pick in the NBA Draft made his second appearance at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas with the Raptors.

Wright had 10 points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal in just under 20 minutes of play as the Raptors beat the Bulls, 81-66, to move to 2-0 in Las Vegas. He also helped set up a few shots for Toronto leading scorer Norman Powell, who had 19 points and seven rebounds. Wright had nine points, nine assists and zero turnovers in his debut Friday.

Doug McDermott and Cameron Bairstow each scored 11 points to lead the Bulls.

Wright wasn't the only local who made an impact in Sin City.

Brandon Davies took his summer league talents to the Spurs in Las Vegas, and he finished with two points and six rebounds in 20 minutes in San Antonio's 89-74 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Davies led the Spurs with a plus-18 while on the court,

Kyle Anderson scored 20 points to lead the Spurs.

Bryce Cotton had a good day Saturday, scoring 28 points to go along with four assists in the Jazz's 82-79 loss to the Miami Heat.

Tyler Haws' summer league campaign with the Cleveland Cavaliers got off to a hot start with 12 points in just over 11 minutes of play Friday in a loss to Golden State. But the former BYU standout followed that up with just three points — making the only trey he attempted — in nine minutes Saturday against Brooklyn.

Wright and the Raptors play again Monday night at 8 p.m. MT. Haws and the Cavs get an afternoon tilt at 2 p.m. MT.

Deseret News sports writer Jody Genessy also called into chat with the KSL Sports crew from Las Vegas about the Jazz's summer league prospects, as well as the locals in the Southern Nevada summer basketball capital.
