SALT LAKE CITY — A man was killed Tuesday when a motorcycle he was riding collided with a semitruck's trailer in an industrial area.
The man was headed west near 4446 W. 1730 South when he apparently ran into the side of the trailer as it was pulling into a parking lot, according to Salt Lake police. Investigators are interviewing a witnesses and working to determine how the crash occurred.
"It's kind of a complicated scene," said Salt Lake police detective Greg Wilking. "There are a lot of tire tracks turning into that business right there, so we've got to work through that and determine what we're actually seeing."
The man's name was not immediately released Monday.
