SALT LAKE CITY — This weekend KSL TV will air several new programs that are exclusive for their audience. It has become a tradition at KSL TV to create uplifting and inspiring original shows to air between the LDS General Conference programming on both Saturday and Sunday mornings and afternoons. This year, audiences will be treated to an impressive assortment of content.

All of these programs can be viewed online on the LDS General Conference section of KSL.com. The videos will be available on this page for replay after they air.

Here is a listing of what you can see:

Saturday, April 4

9:30 a.m.: Daring to Serve: Young, Willing and Faithful

After Church leadership lowered the age for missionary service, thousands of youth in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have chosen to serve full-time missions. Discover what impact this surge of younger missionaries is having on the missionary effort worldwide.

12 p.m.: Going Viral: Family Style

This special explores how three families with popular Youtube channels found accidental success and cashed in on clicks by creating their own unique brands of family entertainment. The Shaytards, Bored Shorts TV, and Working With Lemons show the world why love of family and faith are the things that matter most.

12:30 p.m.: Real Men, Doing Good

Seven men, in countries around the world, share their testimonies of Jesus Christ and show by word and deed what they are doing to spread goodwill in their communities.

1 p.m.: World Report of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

"The World Report" is a semiannual report of the news events around the world pertaining to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

4 p.m.: History of The Saints — The Origins of Relief Society

This documentary tells the story of the inspired origins of Relief Society and its essential role in the LDS Church today. General Relief Society President Linda K. Burton explains the divine purpose of this organization and the service it provides; and LDS Church historians give details about the early days of this worldwide organization.

4:30 p.m.: Mitchell’s Journey

A grieving father’s blog about his young son’s journey towards death goes viral. The messages in this blog flood the world with hope and provide comfort and direction for people of many faiths. KSL TV’s Brooke Walker tells the story of several people who found and follow this father’s blog; they share how Mitchell’s Journey provides insights, comfort and a sense of healing.

Sunday, April 5

12 p.m.: There is Hope: The John Volken Story

A wealthy man decides to give away his considerable fortune to bless others in need and offer hope. John Volken has made it his mission to help young men and women recover from addictions. KSL TV and Carole Mikita will take you inside the John Volken academies in Vancouver, Seattle and Phoenix to see the miracles that are happening there. His program rebuilds lives and offer hope … his is a rags to riches story.

12:30 p.m.: Steadfast In The Spotlight

LDS performers often find themselves working in the glare of a harsh spotlight as they mesh their faith and their careers. But many are doing it with amazing grace. Michelle King spends time with some of these successful individuals. Richard Elliott, the principal organist for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir who travels the world to share his talents; stunning Savannah Stevenson not only leads the London cast of “Wicked” as Glinda, but she is equally comfortable playing Mary, the mother of the Savior, in the LDS Bible videos. And it’s a hymn revival with the Lower Lights — a collaboration of talented musicians who are breathing new life into sacred hymns and gospel tunes.

1 p.m.: Faith On The Front Lines

War in many ways seems incongruous with religion and faith, and yet as one soldier told us, there are no atheists on the battlefield. We profile four soldiers who each served in a war zone about how their faith in God and reliance on prayer helped them during their deployments, and also how it changed the direction of their lives. Many made major life changes after their deployments that they say were guided by faith. All say their prayers were answered quickly and explicitly during their deployments.

1:30 p.m.: Four Families, Four Faiths

We visit with members of Catholic, Jewish, Muslim and Hindu families and learn what they believe, how they worship and how they feel about living in Utah, which has a predominant faith.

4 p.m.: Finding Faith In Prime Time with A.D.: The Bible Continues

Finding Faith in Primetime takes you behind-the-scenes of the exciting new NBC series, “A.D.: The Bible Continues.” Executive Producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey share exclusive stories with Dave McCann from KSL TV. They tell about the making of this epic project and why they believe it is their most important work yet. Key actors share their insights from the beautiful set in Morocco; and religious scholars, historians and movie critics will weigh in on why they believe this new series will resonate with people of faith everywhere.

4:30 p.m.: KSL News Conference Report

KSL News will give a full report on the events surrounding General Conference Weekend.
