PROVO, Utah (AP) — Kyle Collinsworth had 12 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists on Saturday night to help BYU win its third straight, beating Pacific 84-59.
Tyler Haws scored 20, Skyler Halford tied a season-high with 18 points, and Chase Fischer, who hit four 3-pointers, added 16 for BYU (20-8, 10-5 West Coast), which has now won at least 20 games in a school-record 10-straight seasons, all under coach Dave Rose.
The Cougars scored 14 straight, capped by a Fischer 3-pointer, to open up a 63-50 lead with 8:32 left and Pacific (10-16, 2-12) — which has lost seven in a row — trailed by at least eight the rest of the way.
BYU, which shot 50 percent from the field and made 9 of 18 from 3-point range, closed the game on a 14-0 run.
Gabriel Aguirre led Pacific 14 points.
The Tigers committed just five turnovers, but shot 37 percent overall.
