CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) - Tyler Rawson scored a career-high 16, and Casey Oliverson added 16 more to lead Southern Utah to a 70-60 upset of Weber State on Saturday night.

Rawson made 6 of 8 field goals, including 3 of 4 from 3-point range, and Oliverson hit 8 of 9 from the field as Southern Utah (5-11, 2-3 Big Sky) shot a season-high 55 percent (28 of 51).

A dunk by Weber State's Kyndahl Hill tied it a 46 with 13:19 left, but a layup by Rawson sparked a 14-0 run and gave the Thunderbirds the lead for good.

The Wildcats (8-9, 3-3) went scoreless over the next six-plus minutes and were just 1 of 14 from the field with five turnovers after Hill's dunk.

Southern Utah, which won just one conference game last season, has now won back-to-back Big Sky games for the first time since beating Northern Arizona and Idaho State in February 2013.

Richaud Gittens led Weber State with 18 points.
