Markham, Ontario, Canada - The Multimatic Motorsports/Miller Racing team, based in Markham, Ontario, Canada, will be racing at Florida's historic Sebring International Raceway this week for the second race of the 2014 International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge (CTSCC).

With the Grand-Am Road Racing Association and the American Le Mans Series combining to form one series this year, this will be the first time that the CTSCC has raced at the venerable airport circuit, which held its first race in 1950 and was not part of the Grand-Am schedule.

On the heels of seventh- and ninth-place results in the season opener at Daytona International Speedway on January 24, the team has been busy rebuilding its two Ford Mustang Boss 302Rs. The No. 15, co-driven by Scott Maxwell and Jade Buford, will be a new car entirely for Sebring, while the No. 158, co-driven by Ian James and Billy Johnson, has been rebodied.

The Multimatic Motorsports/Miller Racing team, based in Markham, Ontario, Canada, will be racing at Florida's historic Sebring International Raceway this week for the second race of the 2014 International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge (CTSCC).

The team traveled to Sebring on February 20-21 for a two-day, pre-event test with the rebuilt cars and had excellent results, with the No. 158 posting the third-fastest time and giving everyone on the team high hopes for a good result in the race.

The Multimatic/Miller Mustangs will hit the 3.74-mile, 17-turn track on Wednesday, March 12, for two one-hour practice sessions, with a 15-minute qualifying session scheduled for Thursday. The 2.5-hour race is scheduled to take the green flag at 1:00 p.m. EDT on Friday.

"Sebring is a track with decades of history, with many of the sport's greatest cars and drivers having competed there over the years," said Maxwell. "I've had a lot of success at Sebring, but haven't raced there since 2007. I also missed the test a few weeks back, so it will have to be a quick study to remember all the little tricks. We think our Multimatic/Miller Boss 302R Mustangs will be very competitive, and we anticipate putting on a good show for the fans as well as our sponsors and supporters."

"I'm greatly looking forward to going back to Sebring in our No. 15 Ford Boss 302R," said Buford. "I think our Mustangs are well suited for Sebring, and should be a powerful weapon when it comes race time."

"I can't wait to start the race at Sebring," said James. "It's a track that holds some fond memories for me, as I have wins in the 12-hour race there under my belt. It would be nice to add a CTSCC win this weekend. The team has done an incredible job rebuilding our two Boss 302Rs, and I think we're going to be strong when the green flag drops."

"Sebring was a lot of fun in these CTSCC cars," said Johnson, "and it will make for a great track for exciting racing. Multimatic/Miller has done a lot of work since Daytona building us new cars, and I'm looking forward to putting the No. 158 through its paces."

The Sebring race will be broadcast on a tape-delayed basis on Fox Sports 1 at 1:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, March 19 and rebroadcast on Fox Sports 2 at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 23. Live streaming of the event as well as timing and scoring will be available at www.IMSA.com. IMSA offers mobile apps for both iPhone and Android platforms, available at Google Play and the App Store, respectively, which also provide live timing and scoring among other features.
