SALT LAKE CITY — After two big blowouts the game of the day will go to Springville taking down Roy, with the Red Devils holding on late in a 48-45 victory.

In a game where the lead was rarely more than three points Springville hit clutch free throws and did just enough to move on while Roy will have to go home.

This game was so close that two of the quarters, first and third, ended even and the second was decided on a last second shot. The final quarter Springville had a one-point advantage.

This game really came down to free throws in more ways than just the end. Springville hit 15-20, with Max Schreiner hitting two final free throws to end the game with under seven seconds left.

On the other side Roy only shot 11-21 from the line. Blake Lamb scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Roy in the losing effort.
