BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) - Stephan Holm scored 22 points and hit a key 3-pointer in overtime to lift Montana State past Southern Utah 77-72 on Thursday night.

Paul Egwuonwu made a free throw, scoring the first point in overtime to give Montana State a 63-62 lead. Holm then hit a trey, giving MSU a four-point lead, 66-62 with 2:27 remaining. A.J. Hess scored two free throws to pull Southern Utah with 66-64. Montana State's Flavien Davis then scored three points to spark an 11-8 run to seal it for the Bobcats.

Holm was 8 of 12 from the field, including five 3-pointers. Davis finished with 18 points and Egwuonwu added 12 points for Montana State (14-14, 9-8 Big Sky), which finished 30 of 41 (73.2 percent) from the line.
