PROVO — BYU announced its 2013-2014 men's basketball non-conference schedule on Thursday. In total, the Cougars will play 13 non-conference games; six at home, three on the road, and four at a neutral site.

After two preseason games at home against Colorado College and Alaska Anchorage on Oct. 26th and Nov. 2nd, the Cougars will begin the regular season at home against Weber State on Nov. 8th. The Cougars will then travel to Stanford on Nov. 11th to face the Cardinal in Palo Alto.

BYU has been invited to participate in the College Basketball Experience Hall of Fame Classic. The tournament will feature home games on Nov. 14th and 16th, and then the championship round at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri on Nov. 24th vs. Texas; followed by a matchup with either Wichita State or DePaul on the 26th.

BYU will also play in-state foes Utah and Utah State; both in Salt Lake City. The Cougars and Aggies will meet on Nov. 30th at Energy Solutions Arena, while the Cougars and Utes will battle at the Huntsman Center on Dec. 14th.

Other notable games include hosting Iowa State on Nov. 20th and traveling to Eugene to face the Oregon Ducks on Dec. 21st.

In the official press release, Head coach Dave Rose said, "This is a terrific non-conference schedule that will really help prepare our team for league play. It's a compliment to our program to be invited to play in the College Basketball Experience Tournament. We will face many tests and teams from coast to coast. We are excited about the opportunities we have to play and look forward to preparing our team for the challenge."

The Cougars will begin West Coast Conference play on December 28th, however the WCC schedule hasn't been released yet.
