PROVO — Former BYU big man Brandon Davies was hoping to hear his name called during Thursday night's NBA Draft. Unfortunately, Davies went undrafted and turned his focus to making a summer league roster.
Davies will play for the Los Angeles Clippers' summer league team in Las Vegas, according to Hoopsworld NBA reporter Alex Kennedy.
As a senior with BYU, Davies averaged 17.7 points and 8.0 rebounds, while shooting .522 from the field and .682 from the free throw line. Davies finished his Cougar career fifth all-time in rebounds, second in offensive rebounds, third in games played, firth in blocks and 10th in scoring.
The Las Vegas Summer League gets underway on July 12 at the Thomas and Mack Center.
