WASHINGTON (AP) — Jeb Bush will appear soon on television sets across New Hampshire, an important early presidential primary state.

The Republican contender and former Florida governor's campaign is spending $500,000 over the next 20 days on televised and digital ads that his aides say will highlight his conservative record and his desire to change the culture in Washington.

Bush, the most prolific fundraiser in the field of 17 Republican candidates, is not standing apart from the others in New Hampshire polls. A super PAC, Right to Rise, also is spreading pro-Bush messages across New Hampshire and in other early voting states.

Bush, the son and brother of two former presidents, is competing hard in New Hampshire, whose voters will select their preferred presidential contenders just after Iowa.
