CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio are planning to appear at a libertarian conference in Las Vegas.
Rubio is scheduled to speak Friday night at the FreedomFest conference at the Planet Hollywood casino resort in Las Vegas. Trump will also give a speech on Saturday.
The two candidates will speak at FreedomFest, an annual libertarian-leaning festival hosted in Las Vegas over several days, with various speakers and panels discussing political and economic topics. The speeches are only open to conference attendees.
The speech will mark Trump's first public appearance in Nevada since announcing his bid for president in June. Rubio most recently visited Nevada in May, and will also host an event at a retirement community on Saturday in Henderson.
