ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — The Toronto Blue Jays have activated outfielder Michael Saunders from the 15-day disabled list.

The Blue Jays also designated infielder-outfielder Steve Tolleson for assignment after Friday night's 12-3 loss to Tampa Bay.

Saunders hasn't played in the majors this season after injuring his left knee in spring training.

Saunders hit .273 with eight homers and 34 RBIs in 78 games with Seattle last year. He was acquired in a December trade with the Mariners.
