LAS VEGAS (AP) — Officials say an 18-year-old man involved in a two-vehicle crash in Henderson several miles southeast of McCarran International Airport on Nov. 21 has died.

The Clark County Coroner identified the man as 18-year-old Luis Ruiz. Henderson Police said Wednesday he died from injuries he suffered in the crash four days earlier.

Police say the man was speeding north on Green Valley Parkway in a 2000 Acura Integra when he hit the right side of an semi-truck that was turning left onto Windmill Parkway at the intersection. The driver of the semi-truck wasn't injured.

The agency says a preliminary investigation indicates the man may have consumed drugs and alcohol. Toxicology tests at the coroner's office typically take six to eight weeks.
