RENO, Nev. (AP) — Police are investigating how two pipe bombs ended up in a northwest Reno home.
Authorities say a bail bondsman trying to locate a subject Friday afternoon saw an improvised explosive device at an unoccupied home.
A SWAT team and bomb squad were called to the scene and evacuated home in the area and blocked off street access for several hours.
According to police, bomb squad technicians found two devices.
They were placed inside a bomb transportation trailer and safely removed from the area.
Police say there are no outstanding suspects but the investigation is ongoing.
