BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. (AP) — Police in Bullhead City are investigating two biker clubs for allegedly retaliating against an intoxicated bar patron by stabbing him multiple times.

Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt says officers were called to O'Leary's Pub around 8 p.m. Saturday for a possible assault.

Fromelt says officers responding found 34-year-old Michael Earl Wilson, of Phelan, California, had suffered several stab wounds.

Wilson is currently in stable condition at a Las Vegas hospital.

According to witnesses, Wilson was drunk and verbally combative.

When he struck someone with an unknown object, several patrons challenged him to fight outside.

Witnesses say that's when members from a local motorcycle club and a Las Vegas club tried to chase him off the property.

Members from both allegedly stabbed him after he swung an object toward them.
