DEL MAR, Calif. (AP) — Obey beat long-shot Later My Love by three-quarters of a length Friday at Del Mar in the $100,000 California Thoroughbred Breeders' Association Stakes for 2-year-old California-bred fillies.

Ridden by Tiago Pereira and trained by Sam Scolamieri, Obey ran 5 1/2 furlongs in 1:04.59 and paid $9.20, $5 and $3.80. She earned $57,000 to push her total to $90,600

Later My Love returned $26.20 and $10.80, and Just Google Me paid $5.80.
