JEONGSEON, South Korea (AP) — Kjetil Jansrud of Norway led downhill training again Friday at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics test event.

Jansrud, the winner of last season's season-long World Cup title in downhill, clocked 1 minute, 41.18 seconds for a 0.39-second lead over Peter Fill of Italy.

Dominik Paris of Italy was third, 0.49 behind, with Steven Nyman of the United States fifth, a further hundredth back.

Erik Guay of Canada, the 2011 world champion, was fifth.

Conditions were again perfect — cold, sunny and hard snow.

Jansrud, who took gold in super-G and bronze in downhill at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, also led the opening training session on Thursday.

The downhill race is scheduled for Saturday, with a super-G on Sunday.

This is the first of 28 test events for the next Winter Games.
