PARIS (AP) — The French Olympic committee has launched a campaign to promote and help finance the Paris bid for the 2024 Olympics.

French Olympic Committee president Denis Masseglia on Wednesday presented the campaign dubbed "Je reve des Jeux" (I dream of the games) that will include the sale of 2-euro ($2.25) wristbands with the slogan.

Part of the 60 million euros ($67 million) budget for the bid could also be secured through donations from 2,024 patrons willing to pay 2,024 euros per year from 2015-2017.

Sponsors will also be able to fund the bid through a system of text messages, sporting memorabilia auctions and a gala dinner.

Paris last hosted the Olympics in 1924.

Also bidding for the 2024 Games are Los Angeles; Rome; Hamburg, Germany; and Budapest, Hungary.
