KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov will head the Almaty delegation and Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong will lead the Beijing team in the final presentations to the IOC ahead of the vote for the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Mayors from both cities — Wang Anshun, who is also the president of the Beijing bid committee — and Almaty's Akhmetzhan Yessimov — are also on the teams which will make their presentations Friday to an expected 86 IOC members eligible to vote.

Two sports stars — former NBA player Yao Ming and two-time Olympic medalist freestyle skier Li Nina — will appear on behalf of Beijing.
