REGINA, Saskatchewan (AP) — Olympic speedskater Justin Warsylewicz, who won a silver medal at the 2006 Turin Games, plans to retire.

His Olympic medal came after he missed part of the 2004-2005 season with a heart irregularity.

Warsylewicz won the long-track team pursuit along with Arne Dankers, Steven Elm, Denny Morrison and Jason Parker. He also finished second in the same event at the 2007 World Single Distance Championships.

He won the 2004 world overall junior title.
