MUNICH (AP) — Bayern Munich secured first place in Group F of the Champions League by dispatching Olympiakos 4-0 on Tuesday.

In its 100th home match in the Champions League, Bayern was up by three inside the first 20 minutes, through Douglas Costa, Robert Lewandowski, and Thomas Mueller.

Defender Holger Badstuber was sent off in the 53rd minute in his first start in nine months following a knee injury. But Olympiakos could not take advantage, and Kingsley Coman completed the emphatic win with 20 minutes to go.

With one group game to go, Bayern cannot be dislodged from first place.

"It's always important to be first in the group," Bayern captain Philipp Lahm said. "It's good to be group winner before the last match. We can be very pleased."

Olympiakos hosts Arsenal next month to decide the second team to advance from the group. Arsenal can qualify for the knockout phase by winning at Olympiakos next month by at least two goals, or by scoring four. Arsenal is three points behind second-place Olympiakos.

Costa notched the opening goal after Jerome Boateng's powerful shot from outside the box was parried by Roberto. The goalkeeper could not hold onto the ball, and Costa was the quickest to react and slotted home inside the far post.

Lewandowski scored from the edge of the penalty area after inadvertently blocking a shot by Coman. But he controlled the ball well to drive home.

Mueller also profited from a misdirected shot from Coman that fell to Arjen Robben. He headed across and Mueller nodded home.

Robben limped off shortly afterward, with what Bayern officials said were "muscular problems."

Bayern lost Badstuber when he brought down Ideye Brown as the last man.

Bayern slowed down with 10 men but still controlled the match. Costa had a one-on-one lob attempt caught by Roberto.

Coman got his reward for working hard when he headed in another headed cross from Mueller. He was clipped hard by the advancing Roberto but was able to continue.

Mueller hit the post with a low shot in injury time.
