LONDON (AP) — Rafael Nadal (rah-fay-ehl nah-DAHL') has once again been eliminated at Wimbledon early in the tournament. Nadal, the 10th seed, was ousted today by Germany's Dustin Brown 7-5, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. This the fourth year in a row that Nadal leaves the All England Club early as he lost in the second round in 2012, first round in 2013 and fourth round last year.

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. (AP) — Tiger Woods had a good opening round at the PGA's Greenbrier Classic. The former world No. 1 opened with a 4-under-66 for his lowest score of the season. Just two weeks ago he failed to make the cut at the U.S. Open.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Tim Duncan is returning to San Antonio for a 19th season with the Spurs. Duncan confirmed the decision with the San Antonio Express-News. Duncan averaged 13.9 points, 3.0 assists and 2.0 blocks a game and was third team All-NBA and won second team All-Defense honors.

NEW YORK (AP) — Veteran forward Martin St. Louis (mahr-TAN' sayt loo-EE') is calling it quits after 16 NHL seasons. The seven time All Star selection played for the Rangers this past season and leaves with 391 goals and 642 assists in 1,134 regular season games with the Calgary Flames, Lightning and Rangers.

NEW YORK (AP) — Jonathan Herrera drove in three runs with a squeeze bunt and homer as the Cubs beat the Mets 6-1. The win completed a three-game sweep for the Cubs in New York. The game wrapped up the season series between the teams with Chicago winning all seven contests.
