CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — The Atlanta Hawks are sitting all five starters against the Charlotte Hornets one night after clinching the top seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer says DeMarre Carroll, Kyle Korver, Al Horford and Paul Millsap will not suit up against the Hornets on Saturday night so they can get some rest, while Jeff Teague is out with a sprained ankle. Kent Bazemore, Mike Muscala, John Jenkins and Elton Brand will start alongside Dennis Schroder.

The Hawks (55-17) will also be without Mike Scott (left toe sprain).

Charlotte coach Steve Clifford says Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is expected to miss seven to 10 days with a sprained left ankle. Forward Cody Zeller (sore right shoulder) is still out of action.
