WASHINGTON (AP) — Miami guard Dwyane Wade and forward Luol Deng have been ruled out of the Heat's Friday night game against the Washington Wizards.

Wade's injury (sore right hip) was not mentioned during coach Erik Spoelstra's pregame meeting with reporters, but the Heat later tweeted that he was out.

Deng (right thigh contusion) was originally called 'doubtful.' He took a knee to his leg in Miami's 100-94 win over the Lakers Wednesday night.

Tyler Johnson and Henry Walker started in place of Wade and Deng, respectively.
