BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota's Commerce Department has awarded workforce development grants to Bismarck State College and the State College of Science in Wahpeton.

Science is getting about $265,000 to support the training of students in a robotic welding technician program.

BSC is getting about $406,000 for several programs, including welding and power plant technology.

State workforce enhancement grants require a dollar-for-dollar match with private money.
