CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) -- A Cedar City man charged with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of his wife at an apartment has pleaded not guilty.
Tristan Jared Lamoreaux also pleaded not guilty Tuesday in 5th District Court to third-degree felony possession of a firearm by a restricted person and class A misdemeanor failure to stop at the command of a law enforcement officer.
The 24-year-old was charged in August in the death of 19-year-old Misty Lamoreaux. Court documents said an autopsy found she died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head.
A date for a three-day jury trial has not yet been scheduled.
