(Salt lake City-AP) -- A long tour of combat duty is over for a Utah Marine Corps Reserve unit, and now they're going to be honored at an Independence Day parade.
Fox Company first went into action after the September eleventh terrorist attacks. They supported homeland security efforts from Camp Pendleton in California for more than a year. Next, they were shipped to Kuwait and rolled into Iraq. During their three months in Iraq, they saw some of the war's heaviest fighting.
They're back now, readjusting to civilian life.
The company will march in South Salt Lake's Fourth of July parade. That will be followed by a welcome-home party at Fitts Park in Salt Lake City. Everyone is invited.
