WEST VALLEY CITY -- A fire caused extensive damage to a West Valley City home Sunday.
The fire broke out at the home near 3000 West and 2900 South just before 3 p.m. The flames spread throughout the inside, but no one was hurt.
"Fortunately, there were 10 occupants of this house, and all of those occupants were able to escape," said Capt. Joe White with the West Valley City Fire Department.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire. No damage estimates were available.
